Foundation of Light to host bumper 25th Birthday Family Fun Day
This year’s Fun Day forms part of Foundation of Light’s 25th birthday celebrations, offering more activities than ever before on Thursday 13 August.
I am very proud to be joining Foundation of Light’s Board of Trustees at such an exciting time. The Beacon of Light especially offers a fantastic opportunity for so many people to improve their health and lives, and I look forward to helping them make the most of it.

The event brought together girls from across the North East to take part in a multi-sport festival hosted by Durham Cricket Foundation and delivered alongside Foundation of Light, Newcastle United Foundation, Newcastle Rugby Foundation and Eagles Community Foundation.
A lifelong Sunderland AFC supporter has donated a unique piece of club memorabilia to help raise funds for both Foundation of Light and Alzheimer's Society.
