Youngsters attending Foundation of Light's Holiday Club at the Beacon of Light enjoyed a special treat—a visit from Animals About Town, a mobile farm based in County Durham.
Known for bringing the joy of farm life to various settings, Animals About Town provided a hands-on experience for the children.
Kids had the chance to interact with the friendly farm animals, including sheep, goats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, fostering a fun and educational environment.
The event was part of the Foundation of Light’s commitment to offering enriching activities during school holidays.
By partnering with Animals About Town, the Foundation ensured a memorable experience for the youngsters, blending recreation with education.
The initiative not only entertained the children but also helped them to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of animal care and farm life.
Animals About Town’s mobile farm’s visits are tailored to fit various educational and recreational needs, emphasising the importance of animal welfare and responsible handling practices.
This collaboration highlights the Foundation of Light’s dedication to providing diverse and engaging activities for children.
