World Cup fever hits Beacon of Light

Follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jordan Henderson, Lionel Messi and Neymar in the hunt for World Cup glory this Half Term! While some of the greatest players on the planet are preparing for this summer's football extravaganza in Russia, Foundation of Light will be hosting 5-a-side World Cup Tournaments to celebrate the opening of North East's newest sports facility. Priced at just £30 per squad of eight players, each team will play at least three group games with the winners of each section progressing to the semi-finals and then onto the final. Taking place throughout the May holiday, the tournaments are the ideal opportunity to be one of the first to play on the Beacon of Light's floodlit outdoor 3G pitches. PLUS, the 'World Champions' from each tournament will WIN the use of the Beacon's state-of-the-art rooftop 4G football barn for one hour subject to availability! TOURNAMENT DATES AND TIMES:

• Under 7s: Tuesday 29th May (5.30-7.30pm)
• Under 8s: Wednesday 30th May (5.30-7.30pm
• Under 9s: Thursday 31st May (5.30-7.30pm)
• Under 10s: Friday 1st June (5.30-7.30pm)
