Sunderland AFC Manager, Phil Parkinson, will be the star guest at the Foundation of Light’s next business networking breakfast at the Beacon of Light on 18th February 2020. Earlier this week, the ex-Bolton and Bradford manager, was named EFL Manager of the month after an unbeaten run in January by the Sunderland AFC in Sky Bet League One. Parkinson, who took over as Black Cats’ manager in October 2019, has achieved three promotions as a manager, including getting Bolton and Colchester up from League One, as well as guiding fourth-tier Bradford to the League Cup final in 2013. Hosted by BBC Look North anchor Jeff Brown, the Business Breakfast starts at 8am with informal networking followed by the Sunderland boss taking to the stage for a question and answer session.
