Little Dribblers junior football sessions come to Chester-le-Street
The innovative Early Years Football sessions delivered by Sunderland AFC’s official charity are designed to engage young children in the beginning of their football journey.
It is a fantastic honour to have been selected to represent England Schools at international level. The experience has given me a massive confidence boost and it makes me even more determined to succeed as a football player.
Mia, Sunderland RTC and England SchoolsLibbi added: "The weekend consisted of three training sessions which helped us to understand my roles and responsibilities as a player and it will also help me to progress in the future."
The Three Lions have another training camp at Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven scheduled as well as a match against Republic of Ireland at Stafford Town for the John Read Trophy before heading to Belfast for the annual Bob Docherty Trophy.
Sunderland RTC Technical Director Claire Robinson, said: "We are extremely proud of Mia and Libbi and this opportunity is thoroughly deserved.
"Both have developed as players and people during their time with the Regional Talent Club and it's fantastic to see their hard work pay off."
Claire, who will be travelling with the squad in her role as ESFA National Manager, added: "On a personal level, the opportunity to coach and develop players is an honour and a privilege.
"We work hard to create an environment to challenge our players and provide them with a pathway and platform to progress to the highest levels of the game.
"I'm looking forward to working alongside the ESFA coaching staff, travelling to PSV and competing in the Bob Docherty tournament.
