Chloe, Chloe and Leah are three youngsters on a mission to help other people and themselves get the most out of their youth.
The three are peer mentors at Kicks sessions at our Chester-le-Street outreach site and have been key drivers in terms of fundraising and contributing to the project.
As well as supporting younger people in activities the girls have raised almost £1,500 for equipment and activities for the whole Kicks group – positive activities which develop skills, knowledge and experience giving the youngsters a chance at a better future.
Outreach centres really empower people and these three girls are a great example of this making the most of Kicks and using it to improve their lives and the lives of those around them.
We really enjoy Kicks, it gives you somewhere to go, something to do and keeps you off the streets. We decided to do fundraising activities to give us the opportunity to go on trips and buy new equipment for us and our friends to use.
