The Foundation of Light’s education programmes have once again received national recognition.
The endeavours of the team behind our Family Learning and Skills courses have been nationally acknowledged after retaining the Matrix Standard accreditation.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, delivery of the courses was adapted to an online provision for learners.
A range of new online courses were also introduced, designed specifically to support people who had been furloughed or made redundant.
All courses are mapped to the National Curriculum and have been developed to engage families of all ages.
Highlights from the Matrix Standard report included staff commitment, dedication and support for learners.
The Foundation’s Beacon of Light base was also recognised as a real asset to delivering courses and it was found that there was also a desire for online learning opportunities to continue.
Partnerships that are in place across the programme came in for high praise; with lots of positive feedback from those who we work with.
