Esh Group supports community Top Scorers

Leading North East Construction company Esh Group will help celebrate Foundation of Light’s achievements by supporting the annual Top Scorer Awards.

This year’s glittering event will see awards being presented to deserving children, adults and families from across Sunderland, Washington South Tyneside and County Durham who have benefitted from the charity’s award-winning programmes.

Members of the Sunderland AFC first team squad will also attend the ceremony at the Stadium of Light on Thursday 6th April to meet the winners and congratulate them.

Top Scorer is a fantastic opportunity to recognise our participant’s achievements, celebrate the work we do and thank our partners, corporate members and supporters.
We are delighted Esh Group will be supporting the event which demonstrates their ongoing commitment to supporting local communities.

Richard Hopper, Foundation of Light Head of Commercial

Earlier this year the Foundation of Light and Esh Group extended their successful partnership through the Building My Skills programme which gives secondary school pupils an introduction to the world of work and how social media can affect their careers.

The Foundation focuses on the ‘Online Appearance’ module of Building My Skills aimed at educating pupils around the impact social media can have on their employment opportunities.

Brian Manning, Chief Executive of Esh Group, added: “Esh Group are honoured to be supporting such a fantastic event. We have been partners of Foundation of Light for a number of years and are proud to have the opportunity to once again witness their life changing work first-hand.”

Foundation of Light engages more than 38,000 course registrants every year through its diverse range of sport, education, employment and health and wellbeing programmes with the youngest participant being 18 months and the oldest being 94 years old.

To discuss our bespoke Corporate Social Responsibility packages which can provide your company with measurable, visible impacts to your local community, contact Richard Hopper richard.hopper@foundationoflight.co.uk or call 0191 5515164.
