BACK ON TRACK NEXT STEPS (16-18 YEAR OLDS)
Back on Track is a flexible rolling employability programme designed to re-engage young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEET). Learners can stay on the programme for as long as they need to develop their confidence and skills.
The course offers various levels of support from CV writing sessions to accessing Literacy and Numeracy. Further qualifications are available if learners wish to extend their time on the course.
This rolling programme, which runs over two or three days a week, can be accessed at any time throughout the course.
Learners may be entitled to claim travel expenses depending on their circumstances.
BACK ON TRACK NEXT STEPS (19+)
This 10 week programme is designed to get participants back into work, by helping jobseekers raise skills and confidence while assisting them throughout the application to work process. Participants will study modules which includes functional skills tuition in Maths and English.
Both courses are flexible to engage learners at any given time and is designed to increase motivation and self-esteem amongst participants. The innovative interactive courses consist of classroom, practical and physical activities designed to enable participants enhance their employment prospects.
Foundation of Light courses are learner focused and each individual has an Individual Learning Plan to guide which sets realistic targets throughout their time on the programme.
