BEACON ZONES

World of Work

What’s in the Arriva World of Work Zone?

Beacon of Light is focused on improving the north-east standard of living. That’s why our venue’s Arriva World of Work Zone will provide hundreds of unemployed adults with the tuition, training and confidence they need to get a job.

The Beacon will be a motivational hub for workforce development. At our state-of-the-art site, we offer employability programmes, volunteering support, traineeships and apprenticeships to provide better communication of opportunities between local schools and businesses.

Through workforce development, our aim is to help bridge the gap between education and work, easing the transition for both employers and youngsters, as well as inspiring those without jobs to address barriers to their own employment.
