ISOS Housing Group
Investing in Communities
One of the North East's leading social landlords, ISOS support delivery of our Family Learning and Back in the Game programmes as part of the organisation's ongoing commitment to invest in communities and the people who live in them.
Almost 200 South Tyneside families, including ISOS tenants have taken part in various Family Learning programmes which promotes personal development and learning with adults while building and improving relationships within the family.
Since Back in the Game launched in 2013, the course has engaged over 60 learners in activities designed to develop their skills, attitude and physical fitness, with almost 50% of participants finding long-term work as a direct result of the programme.
The partnership work between ISOS and Back in the Game was highlighted when nominated for an award in the Innovation Category at the 2014 National Housing Awards.
We share a common goal with the Foundation of Light in that every day we both make the lives of people we work with better.
At ISOS we are working hard to make the communities inwhich we work more vibrant and sustainable and this new partnership will go some way to achieving that.
