Premier League Schools Tournament

Do your pupils dream of representing Sunderland AFC?

Have your pupils ever dreamed of showing off their football skills at a Premier League stadium?

The Premier League Schools Tournament gives hundreds of youngsters the unique opportunity of following in the footsteps of their heroes, with the teams preparing in the same dressing rooms as first-team players; wearing the first-team kit; coming out of the tunnel to the Premier League anthem; playing on the same pitch; and having top-flight referees such as Martin Atkinson and Andre Marriner officiate their matches.

The annual event, held each year at one of English football's finest stadiums, will see Under-13 girls' teams and Under-11 mixed teams experience the life of a professional footballer for a day with travel to and from the finals all paid for by the Premier League.

This kind of tournament inspires pupils and gives them the belief that they can succeed. Believing in yourself and digging in proves that you can succeed if you try. That's life skills, not just football.
