Fit for Football

Our men's health improvement programme uses the power of football to promote healthier lifestyles and tackle poor physical health amongst men aged 16 years and above in Sunderland.

Addressing themes such as diet and nutrition, alcohol awareness, smoking cessation, cancer awareness and fitness, the course is delivered in a fun and sports-related way which encourages participants to work against themselves rather than others within the group setting.

Held every Tuesday and Thursday, sessions consist of circuit training, cardio exercise and strength work all aimed at weight reduction with participants monitored for BMI, weight, height and fitness on a weekly basis.
